Restaurant Menu for April week one

Our restaurant menu is written on a weekly basis and changes according to whats in season and what is available to us on a daily basis, below is our current menu from te week commencing 29th March.  The minimum spend is any 2 courses and pricing can be seen below the menu.

Cream of Leek and Potato Soup with a hint of Chilli
                   Warm Salad of Pan-fried Chicken and Chorizo with Shaved Parmesan and Sun Blushed tomatoes
 Button Mushrooms stuffed with Blue Cheese Rarebit served with Dressed Leaves
Smoked Fish Salad, Baby Capers and Horseradish Dressing
Smooth Pork Liver Pate with Wholemeal Toasts and Fruit Chutney

Main Courses
Free range pan-fried Chicken Breast, served with roasted New Potatoes and Bacon, Mushroom Cream Sauce
Char grilled Sirloin Steak with a Peppercorn Sauce and Hand Cut Chips
 Baked Salmon Supreme with Oven Roasted Vegetables and Salsa Verde
Risotto of Wild Mushroom, Tarragon and Wild Rocket

Dinner and Dance at the Worgret Manor Hotel

The Christmas dinner and dance taking place at the Worgret Manor on Saturday 19th December is nearly hear.  Only one week to go.  I thought I would post the menu here so people can see whats going on.  Purple Cress will be Catering and hosting this event.  Tickets were capped at 50 and i’m not sure how many currenl remain as I write this.  There are definitly a few left but with adverts in this weeks local advertiser newspaper I expect they will go fairly soon.  If you wat a ticket then I recommend you get one sooner rather than later to avoid dissapointment.
