If you’ve been following this blog then you’ll know we had Buddy’s Live Band playing for us who is fronted by Huge Budden an excellent harmonica player. Thank you to the band the performance was great and we had some great feedback about it.

Well the weather has turned now as the summer comes to an end and Purple Cress would like to thank everyone who visited us at the Swanage Carnival. The crepe stall was a success even though the weather was not at it’s best to say the least. Apparently it is the worst year for weather at the carnival for some years.
We do hope to be attending Swanage Carnival next year and will be expanding our range of products. Crepes will definitly be making a return and if we can manage to persuade the carnival organisers we will be offering some alternative foods. I will disclose them nearer the time.
Purple Cress have been planning for next years events already and we are filling up the diary. This year bought so many events to our attention we had no idea quite how much went on through out the summer around the Purbecks.
Bestival is just one of the events on the list we hope to conquer and probably will be our biggest to date. Be sure to check back for updates throughout early next year for detials.
We will be down at Swanage this year providing the crowds with our Crepe Stall and serving Chili with Nachos and Cheese in the evening. You can find us up by the Beer tent so come and say hello. We are open on Saturday 25th, Sunday the 27th, Wednesday the 29th and the last Saturday 1st of August.
The Crepe shack is a new addition to our arsenal and can be hired for your functions. We hire the shack fully staffed so you just need to provide the location. Contact us for more details.
Last week saw the first appearance of Purple Cress catering at Wareham Market. the market is held every saturday morning on the quay and attracts a good few hundred customers.
Come on down to say hello and try out some of our products, we offer a range of sweet biscuits and cakes at present and will possibly offer savoury products in the near future depending on customer reactions. Easter weekend will be a miss for us though as prior commitments before the market stall began have to take preference but we will be there regularly every Saturday there after.
Catering in Dorset is Purple Cress’s main area and yestersday saw another successful function take place. We were very happy with the entire event from start to finish and feedback was greatly received. We provided a wide choice of menus from which the client narrowed down their preffered dishes. The result was a Hot and Cold buffet for 30 people which included one dessert. Waiting staff were present throughout and replenshied the buffet when nesecary.
If you have requirements for Catering In Dorset then please feel free to visit our website and get in touch. You will be able to view menus online that cover all types of events. You will also find a simple contact form which can be filled in within minutes and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
